The Dollhouse Project

Welcome to The Dollhouse Project.

Dollhouses:

Queen Mary had one. Marcel Duchamp helped decorate one. Generations of children have played with one.

Some are simple, some ornate. They might be made of wood, metal, plastic or paper.

They may look like houses, castles, circuses, barns or gas stations (to name a few).

Did you have a dollhouse?  Did you wish you had one?  Did you have one you used for something else? Did you dislike dollhouses?

The goal of The Dollhouse Project is to assemble a collection of anecdotes and photographs related to our childhood memories of dollhouses, and then to publish the results in book format.
